TaxOne among the LexisNexis Legal Awards finalists
I would like to share an incredible experience that my company, TaxOne, recently had. We were invited to the LexisNexis Legal Awards as finalists in the competition for the best firm in the UK in the Customer Focuscategory, which recognizes the value we deliver to our clients.
Although we didn't take home the top prize, the nomination itself and being ranked among the top six firms in the UK is a huge honor and a personal success for me.
Attending the gala was an incredibly exciting experience. During the evening, I had the pleasure of speaking with the other finalists. Meeting them and hearing their stories was truly inspiring. It was also a great opportunity to share our company's successes and future plans. Being among such a group of legal enthusiasts, a group I consider myself a part of, was a remarkable experience.
David vs. Goliath
It was hard for me to believe that our firm made it to the finals of such a prestigious competition, which every law firm dreams of. It came as a huge surprise to me. After all, my company has only been around for a few years and is relatively small, especially when compared to the London giants.
However, after reflecting on what we have achieved over the past year, I realized that we have plenty to be proud of. Among other things, I published a bookthat has caused quite a stir among Poles in the UK and is receiving positive feedback from readers. In addition, our hundreds of educational articles on finance and free videos, as well as our grant-funded social projects, are all aimed at helping the Polish community in the UK and educating them on financial matters.
One of our projects, which will launch mid-year, is set to be an innovative solution in accounting services, offering top-tier bookkeeping combined with tax advice at a lower price. Whenever I told other gala attendees or new recruits about this project, I saw a spark of excitement in their eyes every single time.
Being among the finalists feels like a David vs. Goliath story for our company. Despite our modest size, our firm stood alongside legal giants, proving that even small entities are capable of achieving great things. This recognition is proof that our innovative approach, commitment to client education, and social responsibility are making a real impact. It also shows that the values that guide our work are noticed and appreciated at the highest levels of our industry.
Such praise gives us wings and inspires us to constantly strive for excellence, regardless of the size of our organization.
Is not winning a failure for me?
Absolutely not. The fact that we didn't take the top spot didn't surprise me, given the strong competition we had the honor of facing. Nevertheless, our ambitions are high, and we never stop striving for perfection. I firmly believe that the future will bring us the opportunity to win this prestigious award.
Reaching the finals of this competition is a great honor in itself, a dream for many lawyers. I am incredibly proud of the company I have built and the outstanding talent that has joined us to help realize my vision of providing top-tier financial services.
In the legal world, a LexisNexis award nomination is as prestigious as an Oscar nomination for actors.
How could I not be thrilled? Being named one of the top six firms in our category is an exceptional achievement that fills us with pride and serves as a powerful catalyst for further growth. It also attracts more exceptional talent eager to help build our company and continue realizing my vision.
